π The app asks for microphone access β why?
KikiDub needs the microphone only when your child records their dubbing lines. All recordings are saved locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
π΅ Does the app require an internet connection?
No. All course content, animations, and audio are bundled inside the app. After installation, KikiDub works entirely offline.
π How do I change the dubbing language?
On the home screen, tap the language selector (EN / CH / JP) to switch between English, Chinese, and Japanese. The course content and voice lines will update immediately.
π I purchased a theme unlock but it didn't activate.
Please make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the purchase. Then go to the theme unlock screen and tap "Restore Purchases." If the issue persists, please contact us below.
πΎ Where are my works saved? Can I back them up?
Works are saved in the app's local storage on your device. You can export any work as a video to your photo library by tapping the download icon on the My Works screen.
π How do I delete a saved work?
On the My Works screen, swipe left on a work to reveal the delete option.
